Coffey’s demonstration of its commitment to its people
Worldpark was developed from concept to completion by Coffey people, for Coffey people. Working with the right partners, such as Axiom, Coffey remained committed to Worldpark, overcoming the challenges presented along the way.
The concept of Worldpark was developed in the mid-2000’s by Dr Glen Simpson, Coffey International Development Group Executive. When Glen began investigating how to locate all of the Adelaide staff in one location he realised that, due to the number of people, Coffey could potentially develop its own purpose built business environment.
Reflecting on that time Glen said “I wondered what kind of a building would embody what Coffey stood for. Our conclusion was something that was people friendly and environmentally friendly. We started to put pen to paper and the concept of Worldpark was born.
“We wanted to create a working environment that had no barriers between people, where there were no offices and where creativity and collaboration could flow. Coffey people are its greatest asset, the more we can share our specialist knowledge with each other, the more we can work together to overcome global challenges”.
